My School- My Ultimate Support

School is an institute designed to provide learning facilities to pupils under the supervision of teachers. A school is actually more than just an institute it’s your support, your achievement and your foundation. School is much more than just noting down things on your textbook and revising them for your test. It’s actually all about learning. Learning how to interact, learning how to talk, and learning every aspect of life in depth to make sure that when you leave, you feel that now you are educated and groomed. School prepares you to get ready to face the world and be competitive and never give up. School is all about learning to work with others, to be cooperative and patient. The most important thing your school teaches you is negotiating the fear of failure and learning through mistakes because mistakes have the power to turn you into something better than you were before. School polishes your hidden talents to make you something new, unique and beautiful. You might not like your school right now as you wake up every day in the morning and go through the same routine but when you leave school you are going to miss every bit of it. Yes, you will!

My experience in my school was the best time of my life. Enjoying the activities, taking part in annual functions, making speeches in the assembly and best part saying Pakistan Zindabad after the assembly. These things were those little moments of happiness and the things that I miss a lot. These little moments filled with laughter and joy are so memorable. Moments of enjoyment and reminiscing the cheerful memories. Time spent there was the most amazing and enjoyable time in my life. Evocating each and every bit of a memory. Running in the ground, eating junk food in the free periods, the excitement of using computers in the computer room was on its peak, also when a senior teacher passes by or when you have to talk to her and you are so nervous but the whole situation turns out pretty calm and relaxing. Buying stuff from the book fares and remembering the magic shows and jumping on the jumping jacks with gusto on Eid Milan Parties. These moments were so mesmerizing and satisfying. Nobody will understand how much you value and love your school sincerely except yourself. Time flies. It looks like yesterday when we (me and my classmates) would be so excited to meet the Dettol warriors coming in our school to give us stickers and watch a short film in the school hall on the projector. Taking part in the prestigious debates held on Pakistan Day or 14 August. Everything about my experience in my school was so spectacular and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious; the only word to describe my experience. I love everything about my school. I remember I was hugging pillars and saying goodbye to them on my last day of school because I literally love everything about my school. I miss my school a lot!
I remember when my first poem was published I showed it to my principal she was so supportive and she encouraged me so much and till this day she is still supportive and encouraging me and she still wishes me best of luck. Thank you for the times you motivated me and lifted me up. The chairman of the school gave me a pen and he told me that this pen is from Germany and I remember I was so honoured and over whelmed by his act that today just because of his support I am writing articles and stories which I was always afraid that it’s impossible for me to write articles because I can’t just do it and only people that are highly qualified can write one. He is such an amazing teacher and he gave me another pen by calling me in the assembly as a reward for my publication of my book review in Young Nation ( The Wizard Of Oz) Thank you so much! Thank you so very much! I just want to tell my teachers that you all are my inspirations, you all are my role models and the way you supported me is more than enough and your time and attention is the best gift I have ever received. I just want to say is that I will always remember everything and everyone. I feel honoured and grateful that I was able to study with such wonderful folks. Now, coming to my wonderful ever loving friends which were another reason my school life had been such an exciting roller-coaster. Thankyou buddies! You all are the reason behind my smile, you are my bliss, my playmates, my confidant, my support and most importantly my best friends. Thinking back how we worked together hand in glove. Celebrating all the crazy moments we’ve had and all the lovely enjoyments we shared. All the promises we made and all the friendships we shared. Thank you so much for being by my side. Thank you for everything my friend.

Equality and Equity

Now a days,We talk about equality and inequality but what about equality and equity? Is it the same thing or it really doesn’t matter to you?

What’s equality? The state of being equal, especially in status, rights, or opportunities. And what’s equity? Not really sure, no idea.

Equity is when people get things according to their needs. Still we say Equality is Justice..  Why?Are we supporting the right thing? Are we promoting the right thing?
Let me give an example of both of these things:

Suppose there are three boys looking over a fence to see a football match. The first boy is short, the second one is shorter and the third one is the shortest in height.

download (3)
And all of these boys cannot see the match. So, a man passes by and helps them by giving each of them a box to stand on, so that they can see the match. The boys push their boxes towards the fence and stand on top of the box. The second and the third boy became very happy as they could see the match clearly. But unfortunately, the third boy couldn’t see the match even when he was standing on the box because he was the shortest. So,this is equality. Is it right? The man although in his heart did justice but was it really justice? Was it really fair?
Ok, now suppose the same story but instead of that man who gave each of them a single box to stand on, this time imagine he gives the third and the second boy a single box and gives the first boy two boxes. So, when all three of the boys stand on top of the box they all could see the match clearly. This might not be equality but this is equity. What do you think? Is this fair? Is this right?
If you ask me I will say: I support Equity.Because I think where there is equity, there is justice. Now, suppose that those three boys have the same height and weight.A man passes by and performs equity by giving each of them a single box to stand on as they have the same height and weight and because they are equal. And when those three boys stand on their boxes,All of them could see the football match clearly. So, he performs Equity by giving them what they deserve but when he gives all three of them the same quantity and quality of an object,he performs Equality too. So, What do you think? Is this justice? Is this equality? I’ll let you be the judge and decide. Decide what you stand for, Decide what you promote,Decide what you support, Decide what is right and what is wrong.

Peshawar Attack-Some Marks Stay Forever

`Tongues of the dead, not lost.
But speaking from the death’s frost.`

The time when you turned to see if someone’s behind you and you could see millions of people crying and sobbing.Peshawar Attack has been a very heart breaking and a tragic incident, which shook all of us in a sudden. The little angels who were the reason for their families to be proud, they were the reason to smile and they were the reason to live a new life. Those kids who just went to school and only their lifeless bodies were found, thrown in the corner dipped in blood. Those little heroes who wanted to become doctors to treat people free of cost and nobody could come to save them when they were getting targeted. Those young soldiers who fought not only for themselves and their fellows but fought for their country. Those kids were tortured by the gunshots that made them almost deaf. Those little soldiers who had been shot twice in their shoulders and legs but still were running here and there to save their loved one’s. Everybody holding their own bucket of tears and blood.

Tehrik I Taliban or TTP has claimed responsibilty and one of the member said that they were told to target Army Public School because it is the school where most of the Army Officers have enrolled their kids in and also because these kids stand against us and they carry along their casualties and missions of their ancestors who were against us too.

“We selected the Army’s school because the government is targeting our families and females, we want them to feel the pain” said a member of TTP Muhammed Umar Khurasani.

Now, they know our weakness but they don’t know that our weakness is our greatest strength too. Due to the Peshawar Attack, Parents now hesitate before sending their children to school; Parents questioning themselves that whether they should send their children to school? Will they return back?

But somehow, Peshawar Attack changed our minds and our thinking. Children now a days are very sensitive when it’s comes to the topic of Peshawar Attack, Terorists, Talibans and their beloved country. It has increased our love, sympathy and support for our country even more.

Peshawar left many of us in shock as this was a very sad incident in the history of Pakistan. This day was mourned all over the World. All the television channels turned their logo into black and white colour. People raised this topic alot by Social Media e.g: Facebook and especially Twitter. The whole world was shocked when they heared this terrible news.

I wonder how could someone be so cruel that they could shoot young children infront of other kids or burn and shoot even their teachers and school staff infront of them and target hundreds of young children just for revenge? How could someone be so mean? And then they blame and point fingers towards Muslims & Islam. No, Islam is not terrorism! Islam never allowed some stranger men to kill innocents for no reason. No religions allows this then why are we Muslims only targeted for this?

Those little angels are remembered each and every day. How can we forget when those beasts took away our future from us? Why should we stay quiet? We are much stronger than them, they have guns but we have pens and pencils to prove them wrong. What are they going to do now? Target us once again? Allah knows everything, nothing is hidden from his view.

In the end, I just want to say is that please make a dua for them it will take a few seconds. And legends never die and those brave soldiers were indeed legendary.
